Never enough.
Train smarter,
measure the watts.

Free · Built by the community

WattLog is a training tool for cyclists who want to understand their sessions — not just log them. Download the app, connect your smart trainer, and let it handle the data.

Amateur. Coach. Pro.
Different reasons, same tool.

Amateur cyclist

You train 3–5 times a week and want to know if it's working. WattLog shows whether your fitness is building or stalling — and why. No spreadsheets, no guesswork.

  • Fitness chart (CTL / ATL / TSB) after every session
  • FTP estimated automatically from real ride data
  • Alert before you overtrain, not after

Coach

Your athletes collect data but you struggle to make sense of it across many accounts. WattLog organises metrics so you can see at a glance who is ready to push and who needs rest.

  • Cardiac drift trend charts
  • Coggan 7-zone power model
  • Power PR history: 1 min, 5 min, 20 min, 60 min

Professional

You already have tools but want something without a subscription that keeps your data yours. WattLog is a tool, not a platform with a paywall.

  • TCX & FIT export — your data, your format, no lock-in
  • TCX / GPX export after every session
  • No history limit, no subscription

Connect your trainer.
Ride. The app handles the rest.

01

Download & launch the app

Install WattLog on macOS, iOS, or Android and launch it — that's it. On desktop, keep it running in the background while you ride. Works with Wahoo KICKR, Tacx NEO, Elite Suito and any smart trainer.

02

Sign up and connect your trainer

Create a free account — or just continue as a guest — then open WattLog. Click Connect, pick your trainer and heart rate monitor from the list, and you're ready to ride.

03

Live data while you ride

Power (W), heart rate (bpm), cadence (RPM), current power zone and interval timer — all visible during the session, logged every second. After the ride you get the full picture, not just summary numbers.

04

Automatic post-ride analysis

Every session produces a report: Weighted Average Power (WAP), Relative Intensity (RI), Training Load Score (TLS), cardiac drift. Every metric has a plain-English explanation built in — no engineering degree required.

05

Fitness on a weekly timeline

The Performance Management Chart (PMC) shows your CTL (long-term fitness), ATL (recent fatigue) and TSB (readiness right now). You see trends across weeks, not just yesterday's ride.

Common questions,
honest answers.

What devices can I run WattLog.pro on?

WattLog.pro runs on macOS 10.14.4 (Mojave) and above, plus iOS and Android. The app connects to your trainer over Bluetooth and shows the full training interface in its own window — no separate browser required.

Windows and Linux support is on the roadmap. Want to see your platform prioritised? Let us know — we're building this based on real demand.

How do I know if my trainer works with WattLog.pro?

WattLog.pro works with any Bluetooth Smart (BLE) trainer that broadcasts power data — wheel-on and direct-drive alike. If your trainer connects to Zwift, TrainerRoad or Wahoo's app via Bluetooth, it will work with WattLog.pro.

Tested and confirmed: Wahoo KICKR series, Tacx NEO series, Elite Suito, Saris H3. If your trainer isn't on the list, there's a good chance it works anyway — reach out and we'll confirm within 24 hours.

Do I need a Bluetooth heart rate monitor?

No — heart rate is optional. WattLog.pro works fine with power data only. That said, pairing a heart rate monitor unlocks cardiac drift analysis and the HRV-based readiness score, which are some of the most useful features for understanding how your body is actually responding to training.

Any Bluetooth Smart HR strap works: Garmin HRM-Pro, Polar H10, Wahoo TICKR, or your existing chest strap or optical sensor.

Is my training data private? Who can see it?

Your data is yours. WattLog.pro stores your session history on our servers so it's available across devices, but we never sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. You can export everything as TCX or FIT at any time and delete your account — along with all associated data — whenever you want.

We don't track you across the web. The only analytics we collect are basic usage events (session started, workout completed) to understand which features matter most.

What metrics does WattLog.pro track?

During a session: Power (W), heart rate (bpm), cadence (RPM), current power zone, interval timer, elapsed time, distance equivalent.

Post-ride analysis: Weighted Average Power (WAP), Relative Intensity (RI), Training Load Score (TLS), cardiac drift %, time-in-zone breakdown, power PRs (1 min / 5 min / 20 min / 60 min).

Across weeks: Chronic Training Load (CTL), Acute Training Load (ATL), Training Stress Balance (TSB) — the three numbers that tell you whether you're building fitness or digging a hole.

Every metric includes a plain-English explanation inline. No need to google what RI means at midnight.

Is WattLog.pro really free?

Yes — WattLog.pro is free for everyone. Core training tools, session history, FTP detection, and the Performance Management Chart are all available at no cost. No trial period, no credit card required.
